On the top of Pumdikot Hill, there is a huge manmade statue of Lord Shive from where you can see Pokhara city and the largest Himalayan mountains in the world including Macchapuchre, Annapurna, Ganesh, and Dhaulagiri.

How Tall is the Pumdikot Shiva Statue?
This place has a viewpoint at an altitude of 1500m above sea level and has the second tallest statue of Shiva in Nepal which is 51 feet tall, after the Kailashnath Mahadev Statue.

The Shiva Statue of Pumdikot as a whole stands at 108 feet. There are a total of 216 Shiva Lingas in total in this area. It is surrounded by the Pokhara Valley to the east Phewa Lake, Mountains to the south and east, and a religious place like Panchase. The Pumdikot Shiva Statue faces towards the Southwest direction as it is believed that Lord Shiva always faces the Kailash Parbat.
Beautiful Fewa Lake and Pokhara Valley can be seen from the viewpoint, also, World Peace Pagoda, and the Himalayas are visible from the Pumdikot Shiva Statue.

- Drive: To reach Shiva Statue, rent a car in Pokhara or a Bus that heads towards Syanjha. The estimated distance from Pokhara to Shiva Statue is around 10.5km which takes around 30 minutes to reach by private vehicles and around 50 minutes in local transport.
- Hiking: Another great way to explore the Shiva Statue is by Hiking. It might take around two hours to get to Pumdikot from Pokhara. Then, after exploring the surroundings, hike back to Pokhara with an amazing view and beauty of Nature.
