Early Life & Education
Sitaram Kattel moved to Gauradhara, Jhapa when he was eight years old, and he finished his secondary-level education. With the first division, he completed his SLC. After his schooling, he came to Kathmandu for further studies.
He has to face the economic crisis in a family, and from an early age, he made money by ploughing the field or making a sketch of others to get money from which he used to buy stationeries.

Sitaram Kattel is a Nepalese actor, director, comedian, social worker, and scriptwriter. He is popularly known for his character played in the Nepali Television series, Meri Bassai, “Dhurmus”, alongside Kedar Ghimire, and Daman Rupakheti.
Apart from playing in the television series, in 2013, Sitaram played a lead role in the movie “Chha Ekan Chha”, alongside, Deepak Raj Giri, Kedar Ghimire, Neeta Dhungana, and Jeetu Nepal, which was commercially hit at the box office. Apart from this, his movie “Woda Number Chha(2015)“, was also a successful film.
“Geetanjali” is a comedy television series where he started his career as a temporary scriptwriter. Moreover, he worked in another Nepali comedy TV series “Jire Khursani” for a short period of time.
