Early Life-
After the completion of his graduation, Gaurav talked to his father about his dream to become an actor. He joined the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute where he did four months of acting course.
Then, he gave several commercial and serial auditions but was rejected for being Nepali. For almost two years, he struggled in Mumbai.

Gaurav Pahari entered the Nepali cinema with “Manjari”, a 2013 movie written and directed by Ganesh Dev Pandey alongside Sujata Koirala. His debut movie, Manjari was not a commercially hit movie but it turned out to be a starting point for Gaurav.
