However, it is best to avoid visiting Santa Rosa during December-April due to the risk of heavy rainfall, flooding, and landslides.

To get to Santa Rosa, you can take a bus from Quito to Puyo. Else, You can also book a private vehicle or taxi which takes around 175km from Quito to reach SantaRosa.
