Nepali-born singer and rapper Yama Buddha was born on 30 May 1987 in Salakpur Morang Nepal. Yama Buddha was considered the great rapper of the Nepali. Prior to this, he was a creator of the popular Rap Battle show Raw Baraz.
Besides, his birth name was Anil Adhikari but he is widely known as the great rapper Yama Buddha. Not only this, he was famous among different groups of people from Young to old. His rapping work also influenced many Nepali youths.
Also, he was also better known for his friendly, hardworking, emotional, and responsible nature. He kept Nepali Hip-Hop and rap alive in the Nepali culture. Also, his show Raw Battle focuses only on girls and money at that time in Nepal.

Yama Buddha studied at grade 4 and grade 5 Pathihara Boarding School which is located in Ithari. Later on, he studied in grade 6 to grade 10 from Excelsior School and his +2 from Edmark Academy. For his further study, he went to the United Kingdom and completed his IT engineering.

Career
Yama Buddha released his first song called Final Fantasy which didn’t go viral and later on he rose to the limelight after releasing his next song Sathi which is a very emotional song. Also, this song is still a hit song and is loved by many teenagers. After getting the success of his song, he released his debut album titled ‘Ekadeshma’ in the year 2012. After that, he slowly started releasing his songs ‘Footpath Mero Ghar’, which tells about what feels like to be a homeless person and Shipahi which talks about the solder life to be away from his loved one.
Not only this Yama Buddha also promoted the song for the “Talakjung vs Tulke” movie which was the first official submission of Nepal to the Best Foreign Language Film for the 88th Academy Awards 2016.
Yama Buddha Dead Case [Suicide]
On 14 January 2017, he left this world he left us, he was no more with us. His body was found at his London-based apartment. Also, it is the black day for hip-hop society.
According to his family, he was found hanging on his belt inside the bathroom.
According to the family source “We are in shock as he was normal until having dinner, He might have been depressed since his works weren’t moving forward after 2012 when he was at the peak of his career.”
Before he died he was busy with his latest and last album Khatra just a couple of days ago and that song had almost completed 15% of the album recording.
As per his relatives, his album was due for release on January 15. Not only this a local club also booked him for the upcoming Valentine’s Day where Yama Buddha was set to perform.
According to the media sources, The Kathmandu Post, after returning from his work he had dinner around 12 am with his beloved wife and around 3 am Yama Buddha went to the bathroom and didn’t return at 6 am and when people staying with them wanted to use the restroom and the found the door was locked from the inside.
By using another spare key they opened the door they found Anil Adhikhari aka Yama Budhha hanging on the towel haner of the bathroom with his own belt.
Mystery
According to this statement, it does seem mysterious in itself as himself being locked from the inside using the keys instead of the latch.
Also hanging on the hanger of the bathroom is also not genuine as hangers are installed generally at a similar to the height of a human height and should not be able to suspend at enough height.
