Samsung Galaxy A03s Design and Display
This phone has a simple back with a matte texture that feels comfortable in the hand.
The Galaxy A03s sports a 6.5-inch PLS (Plane Line Switching) LCD display with a 1600 x 720 resolution and a droplet-shaped notch for the selfie camera. It still has a teardrop notch and a large chin at the bottom. The pixel density isn’t too high at 270ppi and you get a standard 60hz refresh rate.
The Galaxy A03s has a traditional headphone jack for audio as well as a single bottom-firing speaker, as far as audio quality, there is no bass and mid tones are lacking. Furthermore, you can unlock and wake up Ao3s using the side-mounted fingerprint reader which doubles as a power button which is really fast and accurate.
Camera Specs: Galaxy A03s
In terms of Camera, on the back AO3s has a 13-megapixel main camera, and 2MP macro camera, and a depth sensor. In good lighting photos from the main camera are likable with accurate colors good contrast and a wide dynamic range, which is enough at the price.
Portrait shots come out to be decent but the detail level is not great. Whereas, closeup shots from the macro camera are good considering the resolution and the noise level are tolerable.
Selfies from AO3s’s 5MP front-facing camera can get good colors and contrast, videos can be recorded with the main camera and up to 1080p resolution at 3ofps.
Battery and Charging
The Samsung Galaxy A03s has a non-removable battery with a capacity of 5,000mAh which is long-lasting. It has provided 7.8W Charger which gets the phone charged from 0% to 15% in 30 minutes which is very slow. There is no support for fast charging.
Software and Performance
The Galaxy A03s comes with the Core version of One UI 3.1 and Android 11 out of the box.
The Galaxy A03s is powered by the entry-level Mediatek Helio P35 processor. Its octa-core CPU only has Cortex-A53 cores, four of which can run at up to 2.3GHz and the other four at 1.8GHz.
Is Galaxy A03s overall a good phone?
Samsung Galaxy AO3s is an entry-level smartphone, where you can get good battery life and a large screen, a modern UI, and a good camera. It is a budget-friendly phone and feels pretty average, as per its price range.
