Professional Career: Milan Amatya
From an early age, Milan was interested in singing, and from the age of 13, she started singing. She won the National Singing Competition in Jaipur in 2003, and since then she has been given opportunities in the music industry. She is a multilingual singer i.e. she has sung in Nepali, Hindi, and Assamese language.
She has composed and produced songs for many movies, and DVDs. Most of her songs are relating to her personal pain and family life.
Furthermore, Milan has performed in the well-known Melancholy song, a Nepali environmental awareness song where 365 Nepali Singers and Musicians were featured. On May 19, 2016, she recorded her solo parts at the Kathmandu studio of Radio Nepal.
Milan has set the Guinness World Record for “Most Vocal Solos” in a Song Recording, which was written, composed, and directed by Nipesh Dhaka, an environmentalist. Milan is also the judge in the show, ‘The Voice of Nepal’, and its junior version ‘The Voice of Kids Season 2.
