Anju Panta is one of the popular and well-known Nepali playback singers, who has sung many hit songs like Na Birse Timilai na Paye Timilai and Ma Timi Bina Marihaalchhu, Bhun Bhun Bolyo Bhamara of Saput, Dil yo mero dil in Kismat, and many more.

Anju Panta wa born in April 14, 1979, in Terathum disrict of Nepal. She is currently 44 years old as of 2023. She was born to parents Bishnu Panta (Father), and Mana Maya Panta (Mother).

In terms of her education, she completed her bachelor’s degree in Kathmandu. She holds a Nepalese nationality and belongs to the Christian religion.

Anju Panta is a successful and talented Nepali singer who has amassed huge followers with her melodious voice.  She has sung solos and duets on over 7000 Nepalese songs and more than 300 films.

Also, she has given many hit songs including Na birse Timilai na Paye Timilai and Ma Timi Bina Marihaalchhu, Bhun bhun bolo bhamara of Saput, Dil yo mero dil in Kismat, and Sustari sustari mannma for Darr.

Furthermore, Anju Panta was one of the six judges on “Mero VOice Universe” Nepal’s first international reality show in May 2023.

Anju Panta: Controversy

On September 5, 2014, Nepalese social media claimed that Anju Panta refused to sing a festival greeting song because the lyrics mentioned Hindu deities for which she received a lot of criticism. She later refused the claim, saying she had been ill.

Also, Anju changed her religion from Hinduism to Christianity in 2014.
