Miruna Magar is a beautiful and talented Nepali Actress and Model. She made her entry into the Nepali film industry with the movie “Lalpurja” in 2018, alongside Bipin Karki, and Saugat Malla.

After that, she acted in many movies including Jaari,  Kabaddi 4: The Final Match, Rose, and many more, which were commercial hits.

Miruna Magar was born in July 18, 1994, in Hong Kong. As of 2023, she is 29 years old. When she was two years old, her family returned to Nepal.

Her father Dhan Magar was a member of the Royal Gurkha Rifles in the British Army. At the age of twelve, Miruna moved to London with her family, where she completed her education.

Then, in 2016, she returned to Nepal and got the opportunity to learn to act. Her family originally belonged to Dharan, Nepal.

• After this, she starred in “Saino”, and “Cha Cha Hui“, which received a negative review from the critics, but was praised by the audience for Miruna’s performance.
• In 2022, she made an appearance in Kabaddi 4: The Final Match, opposite Dayahang Rai, which became one of the highest-earning Nepali films of all time, collecting over 22.73 crore.
•  Miruna Magar has given and made contributions to Nepali cinema with many hit movies and has received awards for her performances.
• The “Jaari” movie directed by Ram Babu Gurung, and starring Miruna Magar, and Dayahang Rai was a huge success and became one of the highest-earning movies, as it earned over 13 crores in its first two weeks of release.
• In addition, The 12th Nepal European Union Film Festival held between April 28- April 30, 2023, chose Miruna Magar as its brand ambassador.

Case Filed Against Miruna Magar: Controversy

During the promotion of her movie ‘Kabaddi 4: The Final Match’ in 2022, the actress Miruna Magar stated that a monk touched her improperly way, and slapped him. The monk asked for forgiveness but Miruna filed a lawsuit against him. Many people were against her behaviour toward monks, and blamed Miruna, whereas some people even protested and demanded that the movie be banned. Later, as per the public demand, the movie was banned in the Indian state of Sikkim. Miruna later agreed with the monk and apologized to the Buddhist community.
