The R15 v4 Racing Blue variant gets a Traction Control System and a Quick Shifter.

This is also the reason behind the cost of an extra amount of Racing Blue Variant than the Metallic Red and Dark Knight Options.

Note: Due to its premium pricing, the Yamaha R15 v4 now battles against the 200-250cc segments. Unfortunately, the 155cc engine won’t be able to keep up with those giants.
Although R15M counters that proposition with excellent mileage in this day and age. In addition, several unique connectivity features are absent from the competition.

The Yamaha XTZ 150 challenges the Honda XR 150L.
And the Honda XR 150 is the most popular dirtbike.
It was a reasonably priced dirt cycle that was both dependable and practical. Due to its entry-level status, it is not able to take advantage of numerous new features.

Yamaha R15 v3 | Price in Nepal 2023 |
---|---|
Yamaha R15 v3 | Rs. 524900 |
Unluckily, the price of the R15 v3 is above Rs. 5 lakhs.
Think of it as a 150cc sports cycle with astronomically high prices.
Note: Unfortunately, the premium pricing arent justified here, especially with a few setbacks. R15 comes with a cheap plastic fuel tank, bulb indicators, and large panel gaps.
In addition, it has a more aggressive seating position, resulting in discomfort in the back on long journeys.
Despite its higher price, the Yamaha R15 competes with the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
With a little additional cash, you may purchase a 250cc FI engine that is more strong and has a more powerful performance.
Note: Honestly, it seems more reasonable to get either a Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 or a Yamaha MT 15. There was a time when the Yamaha R15 v3 was considered to be a total value-for-money sportbike.

Still, the Yamaha FZS v3 does have a more improved engine along with a strong mileage claim.
Note: Comparing the overall specs and features, the Yamaha FZS v3 falls short. The 150cc Yamaha offering is simply unable to justify its high asking price.
