Then, she learned singing and music classes from Suresh Wadkar’s Ajivasan Music Academy Mumbai, Hindustani Classical Music, and Carnatic Classical Music.

Her first performance in Indian Idol compelled judges to get up from their seats and join her on stage. Menuka and judge Shreya Ghosal sang together a song titled “Mohe Rang Do Laal”. Furthermore, Menuka’s magical voice and her song brought judges to tears.
